The Daily Quiz is a ritual, not a grind
Most trivia apps want you to play forever. Trivixo wants ninety good seconds of your day. Ten questions, the same ten everybody else is getting, one attempt. Then it lets you go.
A shared quiz, with no server
The day’s ten questions are picked by a seeded shuffle over the bundled bank, using the UTC day number as the seed. Every device works out the same ten independently. No sign-in, no sync, nothing to go down. You and your friend on the other side of the world are answering the identical question.
Your score is your score
Play it once. A second run on the same day is not recorded and cannot change your streak, which is exactly what makes the score worth comparing. The pressure is the point.
Something worth protecting
Play on consecutive days and the streak climbs. Miss a day and it resets. Trivixo tracks your current streak, your best streak ever, and how many days you have gone a perfect ten for ten.
Brag without spoiling it
Trivixo builds a Wordle-style card from your run. It carries the score and the shape of your day. It never carries a question or an answer, so you can paste it anywhere without ruining someone else’s quiz.

One optional reminder. That is all.
Turn on the daily reminder and Trivixo posts one local notification at 7pm. It is scheduled on your device, so there is no push server and nobody is tracking whether you opened it. The wording knows what is at stake: with a streak running it says your streak is on the line. Leave it off and you will never hear from the app again.
Every single question explains itself
This is the part most trivia apps skip. Getting a question wrong and being told only that you were wrong teaches you nothing. Answer a question in Trivixo, right or wrong, and the screen turns over to a line beginning “Why:”.
Not a sample. All of them.
Every question in the shipped bank carries a written explanation. Not the ones the author felt like writing up, not the hard ones only. All 2,643. You can lose a round in Trivixo and still come out ahead.
Facts get checked before they ship
Questions move through a drafting and fact-checking pipeline and no question goes live without independent review and human approval. Spot one we still got wrong and the app has our address in it. We read every message.
Four ways to play when one quiz a day is not enough
The Daily is the ritual. These are for the bus, the waiting room, and the evening where you decide to find out how long you can keep going.

Fast and consistent both pay
A correct answer is never worth a flat amount. Answer in the first few seconds and the clock pays you. String answers together and the streak pays you again, more each time.

Answer a 30-second question correctly in four seconds on a six-answer run and that single question is worth 610 points.
XP, levels and personal bests
Every point you score in any mode becomes lifetime XP. Levels come quickly at first and then make you work: level 2 at 500 XP, level 5 at 8,000, level 10 at 40,500. Trivixo also keeps your best single round in each mode separately, so a monster Blitz run stands on its own record.
A question bank you can actually see the shape of
2,643 questions ship inside the app across eight categories and 608 topic tags. Nothing is streamed, nothing is generated on the fly, and nothing disappears when your signal does.

Weighted so a round is winnable but rarely a walkover, with a hard tail that will catch you out.
Capitals, chemistry, film, rules
Every question is tagged well below category level, from periodic-table and inventors to 20th-century and south-america. Tags are what Topic Packs filter on.
The last 300 are held back
Trivixo remembers the last 300 questions you were shown and serves unseen ones first, so back-to-back rounds never hand you the same question twice and the bank never feels smaller than it is.
Built by people who are also tired of the other ones
The trivia category is a landfill of interstitial video, lives that refill on a timer, and sign-up walls in front of a quiz. Here is precisely what Trivixo does and does not do.

- No pop-up begging for a rating in the middle of a round.
- No tutorial you have to sit through. It is a quiz. You already know how.
For transparency: Trivixo does send first-party gameplay records to our own server to run games and understand how the game is played. That is us, not an ad network. The privacy policy spells out every field.
The details you notice on the fortieth round
Feedback you can feel
A chime for correct, a thud for wrong, an arpeggio when a streak catches, a fanfare on level-up, and a tick over the last five seconds of the clock. Audio mixes with whatever you were already listening to and obeys the silent switch. Sound and haptics have separate mute switches, because some people want one and not the other.
Not an afterthought
Every control carries a VoiceOver label, and the explanation is announced along with the result rather than being left on screen for eyes only. Dynamic Type is respected. With Reduce Motion on, the flourishes stop and the answer review deliberately holds longer so you are not racing the animation.
Stats that tell you something
Current streak, best streak, perfect days, level, lifetime XP, best round, overall accuracy, and accuracy broken out by category. That last one is the interesting one. Most people discover they are far worse at Sports than they believed.
Play only what you love
Optional one-time in-app purchases that unlock focused topic filters, built on the same tags as the main bank: World Geography, Science Lab, Arts & Culture. Buy one, or never open the shop. The Daily Quiz and every mode work fully without them.
Host a game, share the code
Start a game, hand your friends the code, and buzz in against each other with reaction times measured to the millisecond. This one is an early preview and labeled as such in the app. It is improving every release, and it is the only part that needs a connection.
Light, dark, either device
A native SpriteKit game with a hand-built palette for light and dark appearance, laid out for iPhone and iPad and running on iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 or later. It follows your system appearance without being asked.
Questions about the questions
Does Trivixo have ads?
No. Trivixo shows no advertising and there are no advertising SDKs in the app. The only thing you can ever pay for is an optional Topic Pack, which is a one-time in-app purchase.
Does it really work offline?
Yes. All 2,643 questions and their explanations are bundled inside the app. The Daily Quiz, Classic, Blitz and Endless all run with the radio off. Multiplayer is the one exception and needs a connection.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no email address, no password and no social login. Your streaks, XP and statistics are stored on your device.
Is everybody given the same daily quiz?
Yes. The ten questions are selected by a seeded shuffle across the bundled bank using the current UTC day as the seed, so every device arrives at the same ten independently, with no server involved.
Can I replay the daily to improve my score?
No. One attempt per day. A second run is not recorded and will not touch your streak. That constraint is what makes the score mean anything.
How are points calculated?
Each correct answer is worth 100 base points, plus 10 points per whole second remaining on the clock, plus 50 points for every consecutive correct answer beyond the first. Wrong answers score nothing and break the streak.
What do Topic Packs actually unlock?
A Topic Pack is a one-time purchase that unlocks a focused filter over the question tags, so you can play a run drawn from one subject such as World Geography, Science Lab or Arts & Culture. Nothing in the base game is locked behind them. Prices vary by country and are shown in the App Store.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 18.0 or iPadOS 18.0 and later, in light or dark appearance, with VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion supported throughout.
